My first job after receiving my PhD was as the Columbus Fellow in the astronomy department at Ohio State University. I spent three years there, most notably swimming with a master's team at the YMCA, singing with the Columbus Women's Chorus, and becoming increasingly annoyed at the poor public transit. In 2015, I accepted the Schwarzshild Fellowship at AIP and moved to Berlin at the end of June 2015.
In addition to Astronomy, I also run slowly (but surely), swim long distances, sing high notes, cook vegetarian food, read a variety of things, and play strategy/simulation or turn based RPG video games.
When I first moved to Berlin, I blogged about my life here, but haven't had the chance to update it in a few years. :-)
